Column headers missing from Windows Explorer

The Column headers have gone missing in Windows Explorer. How do I get them back? TIA

The column headers only show when Details is selected. In the 'View' menu, do you have 'Details' selected? (They don't show in Icons, tiles, list or contents view)

Yes, I always have details selected. My W10 laptop is fine but they've disappeared on my W7 workstation.

I've just realised it's only happening when I'm browsing the NAS files.?!

I suggest you try the tool from: 'Automatically diagnose and repair Windows file and folder problems' click here
