Change file path when adding attachment

Hi when i want to attach a file onto something such as outlook or facebook it chooses a specific file path which i dont want it to access how do i change this on windows 10?

It will choose the file path to the file... how else will 'it' be able to copy and attach the file that you want to attach.

You could move or copy the file(s) to a new folder - perhaps make one on your desktop - if you don't mind 'it' accessing the filepath to there.

Just to be clear, the email recipient cannot and will not be accessing the file on your pc's hard drive, you will have sent a copy to them.
