Can connect to one router, but not another

I have windows 7 ... I recently formatted and installed a fresh copy. For some reason, the Wifi stopped working with one of the routers .... I enter the password, and then it keeps prompting me to enter the password again and again without any errors (the password is correct). When I check the logs, I see "connection to a secure network without a profile" I can connect to other router of different type, just not this one. I tried reinstalling driver. Restarted the router Restarted the laptop.

You could try this.

Driver issues could also be the problem. Some have found that Windows has used its own drivers replacing the manufacturers drivers eg if its an Intel adapter maybe replacing it with the Intel driver may fix it.
