Bluetooth Keyboard on windows 10

I bought a trust bluetooth keyboard to use on windows 10. I couldnt get it to pair so i took it back for a refund thinking it was faulty. I ordered a much more expensive logitech one, and i cant get this to pair either. One of 2 things happen when i try to pair. first, a code pops up asking me to type this on the bluetooth keyboard. But typing on the keyboard does nothing, and the box on the PC times out and disapears. If i try to pair again, this time a box appears on the screen asking me to type in the code, only this time a code isnt provided to type. I am at a loss here.

My Logitech keyboard and mouse came with a a wifi dongle I take it yours is the same.

You need the Logitech Unifying software to make a connection have you downloaded that from Logitech.

Is this a tablet/touch screen device? If so, then type the code (often just 0000) using the 'virtual' keyboard on screen. Your keyboard should then pair, in my experience with Bluetooth keyboards
