Will You be Watching the Wedding or the Cup Final?

  oresome 20:15 15 Dec 2017

Saturday May 19th is the date for the royal wedding and a major sporting event.

It may be the cause of friction in some households as to which TV channel is viewed.

Personally I have little interest in either but wish the couple well and may the best team win.

Happily, I live in a friction-free household.

The wedding of course, who on Earth would want to miss that, after I have vomited I may go for the Cup Final if I have a decent bet on it.

I got married cup final day -

it'll bring back too many bad memories, my team lost :0)

I'm afraid they both clash with an important stage on the Giro d'Italian so I definitely won't be watching either. No doubt I will be sent to the spare room to watch it as my wife will almost certainly be watching the wedding. I reckon the biggest disappointment in a lot of people's book is that it's at the weekend so they won't get the extra bank holiday that they were hoping for.

Neither here too. No interest in the wedding and even less interest in football.
