The French policeman who swapped himself for hostages has died. Surely way above the call of duty.

As terrorism spreads like a cancer in the western world, whatever the country, we need to stamp it out and surely there's no better example than this, in the selfless execution of trying to do the right thing.

My condolences to his family.

Totally agree, what a contrast between the exceptional bravery and heroism of this man, as opposed to the low life terrorist murderer who killed him. He should receive France's highest military honour for his conspicuous gallantry!

I totally agree with you all.

Just one point though, how does the hostage he substituted himself for feel? If it were me I think would feel extreem guilt and supreme relief and then be totally mixed up.
