I've tried Dutch in babel fish as i thought +31 might be Holland

Its somali, thats as much as i can tell you...

The first two words are presumably Salaam Alaikum (or As-Salaam Alaikum)- Peace be with you.

But not written as per normal.

Don not ring the number back as it will cost you lots of ££££.

  karmgord 09:55 07 Sep 2008

would not dream of returning call, what language is it and what country was it sent?

  Forum Editor 10:12 07 Sep 2008

It's obviously not something that has any relevance to you, so delete it and move on.

  jack 10:13 07 Sep 2008

Or have knowledge of the language[Which you appear not to have] delete it.
I trust you read this in the preview box and not 'full screen' there may have been a nasty buried therein.

I would not worry about it. If they need to contact you they will. It is more than likely a mis-dialled number and irrespective of urban legends, it will not cost you a lot to phone the number.

i have deleted it i just wonderedwhat it meant and thought i'd go off topic and use the huge brainy resourses here, you never know what new scams there are and it would alert others
