All of us at PC Advisor would like to thank all of you for your continued support in the forums this year. We really appreciate the time and effort you devote to helping and advising others, and we thought it was time we offered you something a bit special in return.

In addition we’ll give you a copy of ‘Windows lockdown’, a book that will help you become an expert on internet security.

PLUS a book of your choice from the following list, specially selected by the PCAdvisor editorial team:

‘Digital photography’ by Scott Kelby, worth £13:99

‘Brilliant Windows XP’, worth £16:00

FE informed.

((Only Joking))

But on a serious note how's it a gift if we have to pay?

  Forum Editor 00:33 11 Dec 2008

I forgot to mention that if you are a current subscriber you can take advantage of this offer to renew your subscription, but you'll need your subscriber number from the address label/carrier sheet that comes with the magazine. Alternatively you can call 01858 438 867

On a serious note, you have to pay to subscribe anyway - the books are a gift to say thank you.

My sub's not due for renewal! Never mind, it's the thought that counts... (I have an ongoing sub, paid for by my credit card anyway, so I never have to renew)

Merry Christmas anyway :))

Never been a subscriber but just done it for a year. Very good selling FE

I don't suppose I am the only 'migrated to a Mac user' on the forum, so there is nothing for me, said sobbing bitterly ;o((

  crosstrainer 09:43 11 Dec 2008

Well, you will mess about with these exotic Leopards :))

I'm actually considering a Mac in the new year, but only a laptop....Stick with what I know best for the other stuff!

I have just realised I never got my free gift this Autumn and I cant remember what it should have been, not to worry. I always renew by cheque and got a discount, maybe that put the previous subscription company off. I had the Vista book in 2007.

  johndrew 16:48 11 Dec 2008

Anything nice for those of us who subscribe to three copies at a time?

Excellent - many thanks, and enjoy your books.
