An urban myth in the making?

There is a tale going the rounds of sunny Dartford[it is to day and warm too.]
That the colprits that caused the fire that blacked out Kent and South -East London- were actually found at the scene- burned to a crisp.

No word in the media though I would have thought if true it would make a salutary warning message to those that indulge in copper theft.

A Roswell in the making perhaps?

I have not heard these stories and thankfully was not affected by the power cuts. I think it missed me by a couple of miles. But some of my friends were without power for 3 days (and re-discovered the art of conversation).

Wotcha mean- I've here 52 years and apart from today I can recall at least 3 or even4 sunny days through the industrial overcast from the cement works/paper Mills/Pharmaceutical co/ Iron foundries all of yesteryear - now all gone.
