It does not look good after Libya cock-up.

This is not a rant.

It is a rational question from a uk citizen of 56 yrs.

It's not the first cock up, nor will it be the last cock up. but for real blunders, look at the French and Italian leaders recent bad publicity!

Practise makes perfect and the present lot haven't had much for a long time.

Not only that, we have a PM who believes departments can be left to ministers to run.

Would you trust someone with the nation's security
who bungles things?
I was watching Channel 4 news tonight.

This is why I posted this.

Just think what could have been said of Maggie if she had failed in the South Atlantic 30 years ago. All governments have to take some risks, but it's nowhere near as bad as Eden's Suez cock-up in the same neck of the woods in the '50s.

To settle in.
We have no choice for the moment but I would like to see David Cameron get things right with no botch-ups.

  Quickbeam 20:26 07 Mar 2011

If we're onto Labour cock-ups... WMD, say no more.

Team goes in by helicopter ~~~~~~~ Captured by Rebels ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Diplomat meets Rebel Leadership ~~~~~~~~~~ Safely return to UK by boat.

Where's the problem?

  morddwyd 20:49 07 Mar 2011

The problem to me is that you might at least wait until life is extinct before trying to dance on the corpse.

Oil greed makes administrations do stupid, and sometimes tragic, things.

And guess who will step in when things have settled down again, and no Arab government will ever trust a British one again?

  Aitchbee 21:04 07 Mar 2011

The Government will have to improve.
Italy and France have got their own problems.
Britsh public are very patient...
I'd give David Cameron 8 years to improve things...
Labour had a chance and did quite well ...
Democracy is a good thing
I am speaking honestly .

  Quickbeam 21:08 07 Mar 2011

"I'd give David Cameron 8 years to improve things..."

That's quite magnanimous of you considering that you wanted them out on their ears at 19:13!
