Good reason to be grounded?

  jack 13:55 15 Apr 2010

Usually beset with in bounds at near rooftop for London City and high overflights to continent from US or the other way.
Nozzing except one high flyer - I guess already committed before the shut down and one small turboprop[Business jet] possibly toward Heathrow at a few thousand feet.
Apart from that Silence- come to think of it - cant hear the M25 either -Tunnel blocked I guess[with volcanic ash?? ;-}

making the best of the peace and quiet no aircraft noise, our vehicle is covered in grey dust and there is a horrible taste in the air I presume from the volcano.

Peace and quiet here too. Yesterday Bae Hawks from RAF Valley and F15 - Strike Eagles cleaning the roof of our house with their exhaust as the flew through the mountain valleys. Valley closed today due to the ash cloud. Can't see any sign of it here though, clear blue skies and very warm.
