I have just watched Scotland lift the Calcutta Cup, I'm not bothered now if we finish with the wooden spoon bearing the "Auld Enemy"

  Legolas 18:12 08 Mar 2008

The site crashed for a half hour I suppose it was everyone trying to log on to congratulate Scotland ;)

Of course. Scotland did a good job and congrats. The best team won on the day.
Wonder if the 'Nationals' will have a front page 'spread' at the sporting results of today.

OK then, a small three inch paragraph will do at the back page.

I fancy wales for the Grand slam, as well as the well deserved Triple Crown... another golden age of welsh rugby to come?

As for England... it was the worst England performance I have ever seen, Scotland deserve their laurels on the Calcutta Cup. In my mind they haven't got the 'wooden spoon', they've won a cup.

Been a member of the ERSC for some time now and a player/supporter or English rugby for 40 years, TODAY i watched the DEATH of English rugby, and of course the FE would not let me vent my true feelings ...

But, like the fabled Phoenix, it will rise again, after the required rolling of heads click here Sorry but some much loved players must go... The price of winning and losing takes a cruel toll on legends.
