I have just ordered a new camera from Amazon, paid for by those nice people at Revenue and Customs (tax rebate). I am a little concerned about the size of it though.
Quote from Amazon Product details: Product Dimensions: 15,500 x 14,000 x 6,800 cm.
I'm sure someone can sew up a case for it, though, you'll need a pretty sturdy trailer.
A lot of camera for the money according to the reviews.
MechKB 2, I hadn't thought about that. The roads around here are narrow and twisty so perhaps I should organise a Chinook to drop it off. We are not far from yeovilton, so it wouldn't be a long flight and road access to Yeovilton is good.
for 'cm' read 'mm'
That is no a bad camera, just seen a photograph of it enter link description here personally I think it's more than a compact camera.
carver , that's the type of trailer I was thinking of.......
Best to check the excess baggage fees if you wish do some holiday snapping.
for 'cm' read 'mm' - even that's pretty big !
15500 x 14000 x 6800 mm. = 155cm x 140cm x 68cm
If you import it from the states i think you may have a bit of duty to pay on it.
