Never mind Stonehenge, they were skiing on Cairngorm yesterday!
It was a beautiful sunset here, a really lovely way of celebrating. Sad to think that the days start to get shorter now. Although it won't be obvious for a while of course.
I thought it was a long old day, yesterday.
Great Sunset at 10.00 and still light around 10.30 Warm enough to enjoy a long day in the garden. Cream Tea a special treat. Make hay whilst the sun shines.
The last few barbie night are available, it'll soon be dark at four O'clock again...:)
I think it is nice to have the seasons we have. It gives us something to look forward to on cold winter nights. Then in the summer we can look forward to snow and ice and (am I allowed to mention the word?) Christmas.
Roll on wet and cold.I am the exact opposite to most - high pressure, fine weather, plays merry hell with my arthritis and at the moment I am on the max amount of painkillers most days! One person's meat.......!
