Not in the least surprised. Wherever there is a great deal of money of washing about, there is somebody wanting more than their fair share of it.

I suspect there is much manipulation by the money men to be uncovered in these major so called "sports".

Performers' salaries, while high, are peauts when compared with big time gambling and business interests.

I'm shattered, there was me thinking that football clubs were all run by wealthy philanthropists who did it for the love of the game and had all been vetted as suitably saintly with rigorous due diligence by the FA.

This very day a report has been published siggesting "Scottish football's relationship with the gambling industry should be reviewed, according to a fans' group." (BBC Sport)
