St George's Day celebrations?

So why do you suppose England does so little of St George's Day? The other home countries make much more of their patron saints day. In England it seems to pass without any sort of celebration. Is there more to this than a "can't be bothered" attitude? Do the English have some sort of complex about their patron saint?

Not got a clue when St Andrews day is so no celebrations for me.

St george never got rid of all the dragons we have still have one that he missed.

Scotland.Wales and ireland all get free prescriptions at £9 a time.Maybe if England could get the same St George maybe a bit more popular.

Hi. Why do you think so? Many people in England celebrate St. George's day, according to the research at click here more than 70 %, but probably not so many in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, because they have their own patron saints. Also, how do you want them to celebrate this day?
