So finally, after all the debating,

all the arguing, the bitterness and the hype...

We are nearing the end of the road.

Not before time it just carried on far to long.

So at long last we have a proper time to leave the EU. Of course we may end up loosing Scotland. ireland and Wales because of it.

So expect lots of arguments along the way. Not sure if this is the end of the beginning or the beginning of the end.

We are in fact at the beginning of the end. A difficult year of arguing about the longer term deal is starting , and I suspect there will, at the latter part of the year, be similar arguments about deal or no deal. The Fat Lady has only warmed her throat. Hope she sings on time in a year. We are at least “ Out “ very soon

I fear it might be a false summit in the road that you're seeing FE!

I've still not seen any credible evidence that we're entering anything other than a fools paradise.

Yes, I'm afraid that my glass is still half empty....

Surely not the end, but a beginning?

Look forward, not back. The die is cast.

Edith was right. We all have to march forward in step now.

As Boris is PM is he allowed to speak for other parts of the UK.

Of course he is in charge but is it legal to sign for Brexit when other parts of the UK want to stay in the EU and have not agreed to leave the EU.

Once again he probably has the authority as PM but you have to worry about the consequences that it may entail.

Do we worry about it now or wait till it happens.I Suppose Boris has a cunning plan to get through Brexit without the UK falling apart.

Maybe he has been consulting Baldrick to see what he has to do next.

One thing I am absolutely sure about, I WILL NOT be celebrating at 11:00pm on the 31st.

Taking us out of the EU is the stupidest thing any British government has done in my lifetime.

Have been reading some interesting stuff about the Queen and her role, constitutionally. It appears her titles are "Queen of England" and also "Queen of Scots".

Seems that constitutionally, in England, Westminster is Sovereign, but in Scotland the people are sovereign, and the Queen's role up there is to serve the people.

Now, having given her assent to a document that two thirds of Scots people disagreed with, some are arguing that she is not fulfilling her role as Queen of Scots.

I suspect some constitutional lawyers are already licking their lips!!

Old Deuteronomy

Completely agree.

Maybe not. Joining it in the first place might have been the stupidest thing that they did.

Tory government put us in and a Tory government is taking us out.

Roaming was there main problem and if they had stopped that we would still be in the EU. Plus they are determined to have their EU Army to deal with conflicts.

Never a great idea to have Germany in charge of that.

We could be worse off we could be better off we will just have to wait and see.

Myself I think the EU is on a collision course with some of there member states and will not survive. If that's the case better getting out now.
