What do they fit the camels with in those conditions? Do they add anti-freeze to their water so their humps don't freeze?

As a matter of interest, how long would it be expected to lie on the ground for? I assume that the overhead sun near the equator still warms the place up considerably from the overnight low temperatures when it does get very cold in the desert.
