Smallest Oven

  Bingalau 13:19 27 Jan 2010

I've just been skimming through the latest "Which" magazine to come through my door, very funny to me, is the bit stating that there will soon be on the market an oven which works from the USB socket on computers. This is on the page comparing microwave ovens.

We only need a kettle to do likewise from the USB socket now, and we can be slaves to the damn machine all the time.

I'll wait until they bring out a treadmill so I can keep fit whilst wasting my time ;o)

A treadmill with a built-in low power PC, screen, keyboard and mouse up front with a generator in one of the rollers.

A complete, green, emissions free fitness package for body and mind.

Now where is my drawing-board.

Will I get a percentage of the 'huge fortune' ;o) that you will undoubtedly make, for providing the initial idea, 10% sounds nice??????

Small immersion heaters to keep your coffee hot have been aroud for a while.

Of all the misguided things to do to your PC!
To drag enough current to heat food or drink from a USB socket....... ********

10% sounds reasonable.

wiz-king. That's the one, "Which" said it may be on the market next year...

The only reason for such a small oven would be for the convenient roasting of mice.

  wiz-king 06:43 28 Jan 2010

And only cordless ones at that!

It would be of great interest to gamers that don't leave their station for a week or more at a time;)
