Site problems

  simonjary 17:56 02 Jan 2010

Apologies to all for the site's erratic behaviour these past few days.

The tech guys can get it back up and running when it falls over 24/7, but can't do a proper investigation until Monday.

It must be the frozen north east - I had problems, too! Happy New Year.

Thanks for the update, Simon.

There have been several posts but I assumed, as you confirmed, that the difficulties would cease when the business world gets back to normal.

You really should stop these tech guys of yours going off over Christmas!

at the worst of times - during public holidays.

Not long to go now before the world (and our site) returns to normality.

I thought it was all that rich food over the holiday.

"Not long to go now before the world (and our site) returns to normality".

It might be a few hours before the site returns to 'normality' - but the world??

Come on FE - get real.

is the Vibrant media ad server - at least that's what seems to be delaying the page loading on my machine.

  wiz-king 08:01 03 Jan 2010

It's not only the page loading, although it may be related, I have had a few feedback forms and a couple of 503s, as well as slow loading of threads after the main frame has loaded.

This thread is now locked and can not be replied to.
