Please get rid of "Poker Room"

I think that it's a bit like advertising "Paedophilia" as entertainment. You would not accept a Sex Line advert.

Why accept a Gambling one?

I know that the example is OTT but thats how I feel about all such sites.

  BryanR 10:51 19 Mar 2007

Don't click on the advert if you feel that way about gambling sites. Adverts help keep this site free for us to use.

  dagbladet 10:53 19 Mar 2007

What advert? I can't see it.

  provider 2 10:56 19 Mar 2007

Nor can I.

  Sapins 10:56 19 Mar 2007

I agree with you, gambling causes untold misery and is too easy to get into as it is without a computer forum advertising it.

  Sapins 10:57 19 Mar 2007

For those who can't see it, it is down the right hand side.

  WhiteTruckMan 10:58 19 Mar 2007

Its on the right hand side of the screen.

Incidentally, I dont agree with how wee eddie phrased his post, but i AM flippin fed up with poker ads all over the place.

  provider 2 11:02 19 Mar 2007

No it isn`t. All I have is TFT System £1175.

  Arthur Scrimshaw 11:05 19 Mar 2007

stick a strip of tape down the side of the screen!

Seriously though, I don't have problem with the ads, we're all grown up enough to make our own minds up if we want to gamble or not, and I'm sure the sites are regulated. As has been said before (many times) if it keeps the site free and to the high standards we're used to, it's fine by me.

  provider 2 11:05 19 Mar 2007

The rest is blank.
