.... on a plane at Gatwick yesterday as she flew off to start a new teaching job in Athens.

There were quite a few tears (and that was just Dad) as we waved her goodbye.

It was bloody painful for Mrs Clapton is God and me.

Have any other members experienced this sort of pain?

I'm in the same position as many...

6 Years ago we saw son independent for the first time, at University, 130 miles away... When he graduated he quickly got a job, in Norway... He resigned from that shortly before Christmas last year and is currently traveling the world. Though we are in touch, we don't expect to see him before Christmas. I think his birthday, in July will be the hardest; It will be the first time we've not had him home for it. I miss him... but I'm jealous of what he's doing as well, and wouldn't hold him back... In fact we pushed him slightly when he had doubts about going!

Simsy
