My Music

I've just been watching the big O, Roy Orbison, and his backing included Elvis Costello, k d lang, Bruce Springsteen, Jerry Scheff, Mike Utley.

We're talking musicians here, not to everybody's taste I know, but like I keep saying, each to his own, and that's mine.

Not my favourite but Mike Harding did become a good listen. He is more a presenter now is'nt he?
I am sure he was on a DAB channel I found once.
Just honest music, played for enjoyment not money or great fame.

Sorry, not sure of the connection to Mike Harding?

Thought he was a DJ. Was he once a musician

Mike Harding

ex comedian / folk musician, similar to Billy Connerly without the bad language.

His shows in the late seventies were very funny.

"It's hard being a cowboy in Rochdale.
Spurs don't fit right on me clogs.
It's hard being a cowboy in Rochdale,
'Cause people laugh when I ride past on our Alsatian dog"

They don't write lyrics like that anymore!

Just to look at him made me laugh, the singing was a bonus and you can't say fairer than that!
