As MPs return from their jollies,

the atmosphere in Westminster is set to be anything but jolly with both party leaders plagued with party dissent, open rebelion and a gross loss of public respect and support.

Perhaps we just need a strong dictator at this time... the two main parties don't seem to be able to demonstrate the slightest political competence at this important time.

Perhaps we just need a strong dictator at this time ...

I totally agree, QB.

Someone like Donald Trump would fit the bill just to freshen up the Westminster paralysis which this great country has had to suffer for far too long; I'd plump for Boris or Nigel Farage just to get the ball rolling. ;o]

this great country says Aitchbee so just how far back in history are we going with this one then? We live in the 21st. century and the days of dictators have gone thank goodness.

It was of course a rhetorical statement made after the exasperation of Westminster going straight back into the puerile negative tit for tat knock the other party jibes.

However, Vince cable has today made an attempt to remake the political constraints of the closed shop presentation that we've all considered to be unmoveable.

A political breath of fresh air at last...
