Is this the most useless program out there or are there others that you know of?

Sounds like a good skive!

When I got my first PC (PII 266mhz, Win98, 64mb), I bought many PC magazines just to get the 'free' programs on the cover disks. The amount of utter rubbish that I then piled onto my machine is unbeleivable. One program that springs to mind was called something like 'photo organizer expert'. All it did was list the contents of 'my pictures', exactly the same as 'my pictures' folder did.

If there are any other similarly 'useful' utilities which members know of, post a link here, with a short (15 word) summary of the program...

For example, Brick for Windows allows you to harmlessly throw a 'virtual brick' through your screen when you get annoyed with your computer.

I may see if we can squeeze some of these on a future cover disc.

Most of the good ones I've played with in my time are on click here

but, a trick that works is take a screenprint and set it a desktop then hide the exsisting icons and start bar and watch the user frenticly click a background.

Fell for that a few times ;)

Maybe not the most useless software, but an "out of office reply" I would like to send to all spammers out there:

dagbladet 11:36 24 Oct 2006 my earlier post, it's fair to say that I have also benefited from some excellent freebies from cover discs.
