Mortgage v Energy costs-who would have thought?

My mortgage provider informed me today that it was [gratefully] passing on the full benefit of the latest interest rate reduction.

Who would have believed it - I am now paying more for my energy than I am in mortgage repayments!

Make the most of it, I fear the reverse will be a reality in the future.

My Wifes council tax bill is higher than our mortgage (just fixed it to the end). Mind you I get to have grass spread all over the pavement outside our house and my bin emptied if I put it out beside the road. I think the pot holes in the pavement are free.

Me too.
My savings interest will soon be less than the postage on the bill if things carry on!!

will rise again, as will fuel bills, so make the most of it if you're a borrower with cold feet.

If you're a saver it looks like being the proverbial annus horribilis.
