i saw that prince charles was wearing about 6 medals, how did he get them? I thought only phillip,andrew,& harry had been in conflict zones.

as i typed saw on news edward of all people has some too, how can he wear a uniform after failing his basic marine course let alone medals.

if they are just cosmetic ones I thought there was a law against that.

A friend who has 13 medals went to B Palace to have Prince Charles present him with his George Medal a couple of years ago. The prince remaked on the number of medals and my friend replied "You are not doing too badly yourself". Charles replied along the lines of , "Yes but mine are for anniversaries and yours are not." (Queens jubiee etc.) Edward failed the commando course for refusing to swim a river in the winter. He , I believe , is an honourary officer in a TA Yeomanry unit, no doubt so he can wear a unifom on such occasions...

essentially they are, just being alive when you're mother is crowned is not exactly an onerous task...
