So far as I can make out, JB (though I fund newsprint a problem), thai "peaceful" protest has not (yet!) been prohibited.

Only if it goes ahead following such a ban would the law be invoked.

A "protest" on such a scale would be joined by thousands of trouble-makers whose only purpose would be to commit criminal damage, arson and violence. It would turn into one big riot.
