Looking for a good read... a very good read...?

If we thought that Russian interference in western elections is something recent within our Facebook timelines, think again...

Just read The Spy & The Traitor, a true account of Cold War espionage. It's been going on for as long ago as the Bolshevik Revolution.

Particularly with Thatcher's '83 election where they tried any method that they could to disrupt the ever increasing Thatcher/Regan closeness including branding Thatcher as an Iron Lady, which is apparently a great insult in Russia, but that backfired spectacularly with Maggie embracing it to spectacularly good effect!

For me it was a one hit book, the first in a long time for me. I started reading it yesterday afternoon, and have just finished it after an all night sitting!

Each to their own but I'm looking forward to getting stuck into a much lighter tome over the next few nights, The Wind In The Willows ... plenty of shenanigans in that book too, so I've heard ;o)
