Police vehicle plunges into Forth and Clyde Canal
Two police officers were taken to hospital after their car ended up in a canal while responding to a call out.

The driver of the police car lost control of the vehicle while on a fast response call in Kirkintilloch, said a spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police.

The car left the road and landed in the Forth and Clyde Canal on Sunday night.

The officers in the car escaped and "were safe and well", she added. The ambulance service said they were treated for minor injuries.

the driver wanted to wet his appetite for driving police vehicles but ended up with that sinking feeling, must have been a bit wet behind the ears

I wonder what moronic comments we would have seen, had there been a fatality??
Some people just have too much time on their hands.

Good to see your sense of humour hasn't deserted you following your recent traumas.

Thanks only thing thats keeping me going.

Only a moron would think we would be making jokes if there had been a fatality. Some of us need something to help us keep going when times are desperate and as an ex-police officer I can tell you they will begetting a lot worse from their colleagues.
