Im sure there must be an investigation taking place to see if he was involved with match fixing.

If has denied bing involved only time will tell the truth.

I dont think he would be involved with kind off thing but i might be wrong only time will tell when the investigation results are published or when you either here hes going to court or the claims are dropped.

300,000 euros is a small sum compare to what he would normally earn over a couple of years.

The 300,000 euros would have been in addition to what he normally earns, he is alleged to have thrown frames, not matches.

An accusation has been made and Higgins has issued a denial. An investigation will take place, and perhaps it's best to wait for the result of that to be made public.

There's more to this than meets the eye, I think, judging by tonights news report.

Don't know much about snooker at this level (or any level!) but I would have thought that €300K is loose change to most top professionals in this or any sport.

Wouldn't even buy a decent house these days.

The News of the World video shown on the BBC news programme left little to the imagination that a payment was being discussed, and that it could be used to pay toward the mortgage Higgins had on a property he had in Spain

  rdave13 20:23 02 May 2010

But in what context? Sounds like they both wanted to get from there as soon as possible for some reason.
