The IT Crowd

OK - so who watched Channel 4's 'The IT Crowd' on Friday and didn't see a bit of themselves ?

1) I am not an appalling actor.

2) I do not write weak, mindless scripts.

3) I have a sense of humour, something that is sadly lacking in this series.

4) I do not conform to the tired stereotypes that populate the series.

In short, nothing of myself is in this excuse for a series.

You enjoyed it then! ;-)

that it was quite dreadful.

The preview advert was enough to churn my stomach.

I agree, the preview ad for the series was enough to put me off.

I liked it but didn't love it, there are better comedies on channel 4 such as friends, futurama and the simpsons even though the last two are cartoons.

The burning screen-saver ticked me.

Watched part of it and went into depression mode.Think I will stick to something more realistic, like Sesame Street.

I agree it's not Fawlty Towers or Rising Damp, but it had it's moments. Strange how much negative reaction there seems to be, yet trash like Little Britain gest hailed as the saviour of comedy.
At least it was a break from reality TV.

Truelly dreadfull i watched it and was disapointed by it.
It could have been a good comedy if the right writers got hold of it.
