With all those "big 'ouses", it must be somewhere around Brighton.
Large house, chapel in grounds, looks like a large flagpole, rugby pitch and running track. Either a school or a military school?
The Lake District perhaps. I don't think it is a beach, no ships of any sort!

...looks like (to me, anyway) that a gigantic mouth has taken a 'bite' out of the shore-line... so ...'mouth' may be a clue in the name.
