Nice art deco shopping mall on the right, and the bus in this one looks like an Albion.

Not sure about the bus, but the suit that gent is wearing is definitely John Collier ("the window to watch" - remember them?)!

  birdface 09:10 04 Sep 2010

Was that the 50 Bob Taylor or 50 Shilling Taylor something like that.
Everyone had made to measure suits in those days and very smart they were as well.
Todays off the peg suits are just not the same.
Might be because I need a far bigger size maybe.

The bus looks like click here 2nd down to the right with the split rear upper window. The style of the platform and railings are the same. A Metro-Cammell H56R? i can't find a picture with greater detail than this partial rear profile.

Fifty Shilling Tailor?

No-one with any pretensions to taste would get their suits in such a place!
