Good Evening All.
Celebrating what and where exactly?
From the Fortnum and Mason van, London - A street like Piccadilly or Regent Street. Maybe end of WW2? (A first guess)
john bunyan, Good Call, it is London.
Could be the Coronation of George VI, or the Festival of Britain.
The birth of a member of the Royal Family circa 1948 in London's Pall Mall.
I also agree with Macscouse. Coronation 1937 (not '36)
I think it will be practically impossible to work out , from the decorations, exactly what was being celebrated so I will enlighten you all - King George V Silver Jubilee.
Bing.alau, I was hoping FE would tell us, him being a city gent and all that ;o}
Try The Strand
It couldn't be near the Dominion Theatre ... say for instance Oxford Street ... where we went to see the Queen Musical "We Will Rock You",could it, or am I a "Fat-Bottomed Girl?" [TIC]
