I would imagine that will put a few folk of of using Firefox in the UK as well.
I was just about to download it.
I don't think that I will bother now.

Life is too short to worry about whether to use IE or Firefox...unless you are well paranoid.

Update for Firefox today which will probably sort it out.

I installed the Firefox 3.6.2 Beta a few days ago which fixes this exploit. All my extensions & themes work fine & the browser is totally stable.

3.6.2 Final comes out at the end of the month unless Firefox have brought the security update forward.

At this rate, there's going to be no way to access the internet as whichever browser you use might have security vulnerabilities. :)

You have to feel sorry for the Germans, they had to ditch IE a couple of weeks ago so en-mass they moved to Firefox. Now they can't use Firefox. No doubt millions of Germans are downloading Google Chrome at this very moment. If that gets a flaw I don't know what they will do. It must really mess the backup & imaging routine of the average German up.

Maybe it's some kind of fiendish plan that we are not privy too?

although it is very highly recommended on this forum. I find IE8 to be better.
