I just got one entitled 'Cucumber Relatives'

I bet there is worse to come...

I often feel left out... I never get spam :(

  Kate B 22:51 27 Dec 2006

Lisa, I'll happily forward you some of mine if you like ;-)

the mailing preference list for you to add your e-mail address too. I know how distressing being left out can be. ;)

Sliced, battered and deep fried. Sadly, chippies that do them (decently) seem to be very few and far between.

One of my very under-indulged bad habits...

I suggested we have it for Xmas Dinner... No one supported my request ;)

  bluto1 23:09 27 Dec 2006

Haven`t you guys had enough to eat during Christmas? (many groans)

  WhiteTruckMan 23:11 27 Dec 2006

until you've tried it.

Its also good (and healthier than my first option) sliced and grilled, on a sarnie. Easier on the teeth than a bacon buttie, as well.

cooked spam and egg sarnies are good as well.

If youve been on the beer on a friday night then spam, egg and black pudding on an oven bottom barm really sets you up for the day.

We used to buy quite a few tins of Spam until it was decided it would not be produced in the UK any more.

I consider myself an expert in that field, along with the ability to serve up 'corned dog', sorry corned beef, in 37 delicious ways (eyes rolled) - courtesy of the good old
'Andy Capp's Commandos' ;o)

You can still buy it-or was it a moral type decision to stop buying it?
