  DrHoliday 21:19 16 Jul 2006

I got an email from pc advisor on Thursday of last week offering me a free copy of Septembers magazine via a 0845 call.

Must say it's a nice surprise to be getting something for free. Well done PC Advisor ;-)

I have a subscription and got my September issue on Saturday. Could be the free offer is an incentive to get you to sign up for a subscription, which is still a good deal. It is cheaper than buying in the shop (when you remember to) and it arrives well ahead of the time it arrives in the shop anyway.

Well worth it. Shop price for the DVD issue is £59.88 for 12 and subscription price is £39.99, a saving of £19.89 plus, it comes through your letterbox.

They are now out of the DVD version (10:45) but you can get the CD version for free and then the next 3 issues for £1 !!!

Bargain of the century, maybe having it delivered will get me hooked, which i assume is the idea!!
