You have so much incoming money, they wont as much of it as they dare take without causing a revolution. What is given with one hand is taken with the other. I'm getting to the point in believing that all budgets at the end of the day are the same.

An alternative system would be to hand over all your cash each month & the chancellor will give you an amount of spending money.

Alistair Darling is as scottish as they come.
Born in London full education in Scotland (Aberdeen University)and a supporter of the International Marxist Group.
He is not a friend of England.

With the number of anti-Labour threads on here at the moment I'm beginging to think that this site is being used as a Tory election campain, and there was me thinking that was against the forum rules???

  eikonuj 15:12 24 Mar 2010

against forum rules, who has mentioned party politics then?

  morddwyd 20:27 24 Mar 2010

I think you'll find that it's partisan politics which are against the rules, not party poltics.

There is a difference.

£2bn investment bank to back low-carbon industries such as offshore wind.

Government to provide £1bn through asset sales

What have they decided to sell this time?

  Strawballs 22:58 24 Mar 2010

Could it be steel, gas, shipbuilding, water, electricity or even rail oh no sorry I forgot someone else beat them to it.
