Has anyone tried putting "about:mozilla", without the quotes, into the address bar at all?

Hadn't seen the earlier thread so I'm glad that you posted it. Brilliant!

The beasts of mammon may tremble before the Firefox. The beasts of Opera 8 know THEY are using something better :-)

No, I'd not seen the earlier post either so apologies

Shouldn't they be the SpellSingers of Opera?

If you type it in to IE a blue screen comes up. (saying mozzila crashes?)

  PurplePenny 12:31 29 Mar 2005

"The Book of Mozilla" is a Firefox easter egg so it only works in Firefox. The blue screen is IE's own egg, if you type "about:[anything else]" in IE it doesn't come up with a blue screen, the blue screen is specifically a response to "about:mozilla".

If you type "about:mozilla" into Netscape7 you get a different quote from the Book of Mozilla
