Salmond - When we win independence for Scotland we'll be in the EU within 18 months.

Junckers - No more new member states of the EU for 5 years.

If you noted what I wrote, the word King was written 'King' - note the punctuation - I could have use italics but chose not to do so. This may have indicated a less than definitive meaning had you considered what you were reading.

I quote:

"When will this pathetic 'king Salmond' business cease? You just make yourself sound clueless......."

And this is your "fair comment"? It is to me more than "simply pointed out the flaw" and more like an attack on the integrity of my comment which is not dissimilar to that made by many others. Perhaps your quote above is applicable to them also.

Don't go! I was subtly chiding another; I like the banter if it does not get too personal, and genuinely miss fm!!

"and then condemn his own party as an also ran for decades to a socialist majority."

He won't condemn them, the Scottish electorate will do that, if they give themselves the chance.

Look back at General Elections over the last fifty years or beyond and see how many times Scotland would have had anything other than a Labour government.

The SNP have never won even a dozen seats at a General Election, their best performance being 40 years ago in 1974.

The only reason Labour support "Better Together" is because they know they haven't a hope in hell of ever forming a government at Westminster without Scottish MPs.
