I do, which is why I accept the opinion of the experts who inspected the crack and said they didn't know (at this stage) why it happened.

The Devonshire is the one the Lloyds overseers refer to when pointing out a simple thing as a stray arc they say it can be traced back to that!! so cracks can start from not following procedure and my 34years in shipbuilding gives me a bit of knowledge of the subject!
