Well I spend a great deal of time photographing spiders, bugs and butterfies, so I'll keep my eyes open. Here's one beastie that does survive our cold winters. I'ts a massive 5mm excluding the legs.

Then, further down the page comes something a little less dramatic

"there are 'fears that some could have fled to nearby fields', before breeding."

I don't think anyone needs to lose any sleep over this.
