The correct fitting for CO2

Can anyone tell me the correct fitting to connect to a CO2 cylinder. In the past I have used an anticlockwise thing about 20mm. The one I have now has something like 15mm connection but I cant find a thread that fits.

I do realize that they are dangerous and have no intention of tampering with valve or anything else just want to screw on a fitting to allow me connect my freezing kit.

I suggest you take a look at this before you go any further.

FE, thanks for trying to help but I have already looked at that site and many others to no avail unless I have missed something in their list of fittings. I can connect it with 1/2 FI and some force and PTFE tape which I may have to do but surely it is possible to obtain the correct fitting ie Whitworth 0.860 x 14 TPI.

FE or anyone else if you can show me where to get a fitting whitworth 0.860 x 14 TPI female which adapts to any normal plumbing connections then please do so.

There must be millions of CO2 bottles out there. To be unable to find a connector fitting beggars belief.
