CD Issue - Is it for the chop?

  wee eddie 18:45 18 Mar 2006

Our local supermarkets, well ASDA, Tesco & Morrisons, seem to have stocked the DVD Issue only for the last 3 months.

Is this a distribution problem, or policy?

It is rare to see it in cd form even at WH Smiths but they have plenty of the DVD mags.

Even PCAnswers are going totally DVD. click here

ps I buy both.

'Cos that's the long and short of it.

Pretty much so I think, my Tescos doesn't have the CD version either so I go to my local newsagents instead.

twenty quid for six issues of the DVD version delivered plus a gift. You can't knock the subscription, you get the mag first before the shops do.

£19.99 / 6 = £3.33

It still equates to a rise in price.

The magazine content is the same.

subscribe to the cd then

It's surprising the amount of people who purchase their magazines from a newsagents, even Asda and Tesco's stand, just for the cd/dvd content alone.

I am absolutely amazed that anyone (see wee eddie's post above) would throw the DVD straight in the bin! There is some great stuff on the DVD, EVERY issue.

What am I going to give up, to spend time on the DVD
