Some one posted about this a while back. Smart kid though, perhaps the next Bill Gates?

I find it hard to believe. More believable would be that one of the parents bought the car and the other objected so they needed a get-out. Call me cynical if you wish.

IMHO the story is absolute cobblers. The mother obviously fancied a pink car, bid on it and then realised that she would have to pay £9K and in a fleeting moment of sanity realised that there was zilch in the family coffers.

Speaking as a parent of a 2yr old (not far of 3) and a 4 year old. I say the story is a load of bull and I agree with Gandalf & Altruist, one wanted it and the other said no.
