Blair Offers Partial Apology for Invasion

In an American interview at the weekend Blair offered a partial apology for the 2003 Iraq invasion.

He actually apologised for the fact the intelligence received was wrong and for the poor planning in the aftermath.

I don't think it needs Chilcot to tell us, if he ever gets round to it, that the decision to invade was made first and the justification for it was assembled later. The intelligence wasn't wrong, it was distorted to reinforce the decision.

Considering this was based on 'weapons of mass destruction', I can only assume an awful lot of groundwork will be needed, if and when any report comes out, that the public will find acceptable.

He now reckons that he's so rich, no one can touch him!
