Thanks for replying Joe but I can't see who sings it.

of the game, and the intro music varies - American audiences get different music to the original Japanese version.

If your music is operatic - 'The moon over the ruined castle' it may be by Rentaro Taki.

I don't know who the singer is.

Thank's for your contributions FE. The Lady in question sounds a bit like Joan Sutherland tho' with sound engineering it could have been M.s Church. ;)

Anyone else ?

If the song is 'moon over the castle' as FE suggests then according to Joe R's link it is Synthetic

There are several soundtracks from GT4, and one of them certainly does contain a synthetic version.

The original Japanese version of GT4 contained the orchestral version - at least I think it did, but it was considered wrong for the American audience.

The orchestral version was done by Masahiro Ando. Its a shame that would have taken this out for the Americans, the japanese do some very beautiful music, I remember the Castlevania series (Number 4 in particular) had some beautiful orchestral music.

The nearest I can get is (feat. Isamu Ohira, Sean Kelly, Masahiro Ando) the composer died 1903 of TB at the age of 23.

As mentioned, it is possible there is no human sound in it at all. Pity; I can just picture her at the last night of the proms.

Thanks all
