A School Teacher was killed by the Police yet the very people who are meant to protect are not to be prosecuted. What did Blair Peach do to be killed only to protest against the National Front otherwise now known as the BNP.

I was only 9 or 10 years old when this happened yet is it ok for the Police to get away with such crimes.

A lot more of it happened back then, if it's any consolation, it took these events to shape today's rules and procedures.

Talk to anyone that was around during the year long miners strike, and you'll get a description of a police force that sounds as if it's a third world police force.

Nothing is perfect, but it's better than it was.

Even though it was thought that a policeman did it he would have had to have been positively identified and then proved to have done it. That evidence was not available.

the reason they were not prosecuted was because they were told by their solicitor not to answer any further questions, preventing an officer from confessing, there being no other evidence, the case could not proceed any further.
