911 on Channel 4

Anyone currently watching this on Channel 4?

It's been made from unseen footage, mainly by amateurs on handheld cameras and phone video footage, and also using fire crew footage. It's showing the real reactions in a realtime time scale and is really quite chilling to watch.

That was the most powerful documentary I've ever seen. The fire crew footage in the immediate aftermath of ground zero was truly eery.

Missed it. Mind you I'm not sure whether that is a good or a bad thing. Somebody forwarded me a lot of photo's of the occasion and the aftermath. It was horrendous.

without feeling some pretty powerful emotions. I went there two years after the event, and I found myself feeling very moved. You can't stand there without thinking that this is the place where so many people died in horrendous circumstances.

Started to watch it but gave up when the advert breaks kept cutting in. You'd think Channel 4 would have been a bit more sensitive considering the horrific nature of the event.

Well they do have to pay to make programmes.
Channel 4 has a history of making award winning and cutting edge documentaries.

My wife was there on the day and a friend worked on 104th floor so it was particularly moving for us.
